Noise Risk Assessment

If excessive noise is identified in the place of work, the employer shall appoint a noise risk assessor to carry out noise risk assessment in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (Noise Exposure) Regulation 2019. It is a very important step towards preventing employees hearing against the noise induce hearing loss. The assessment is conducted based on the industry code of practice (ICOP) for management of occupational noise exposure and hearing conservation 2019 which is promulgated under section 37 of Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994(Act 514) as a guidance to comply with the provision of Occupational Safety and Health (Noise Exposure) Regulation 2019
